Paul Danola | Partner

Paul Danola is a Partner at Bridgeport Partners. At Bridgeport, Paul focuses on strategy, investment thesis, sourcing, execution and value creation for Bridgeport’s portfolio companies.

Paul has over 40 years of operating and investment experience as a senior executive at several of the world’s largest financial technology companies, including Fidelity National Information Services, Inc. (FIS), Metavante Technologies, Inc. (acquired by FIS in 2009) (Metavante), and the Financial Institution Systems and Services Group of Fiserv, Inc. (Fiserv).

Paul brings extensive experience in strategy, sales, operations and technology and has been a leader of business segments across the financial technology sector at FIS, Metavante, Fiserv and Citicorp including core banking, wealth management, business analytics, delivery channel optimization, enterprise risk management and consulting. He is an observer on the Board of Directors of CSI, a leading digital core banking provider and Bridgeport portfolio company.

Paul previously served as President of Trebia Acquisition Corporation, a NYSE-listed special purpose acquisition company. He was the Founder, President and Chief Executive Officer of Threshold Consulting LLC, a business consultancy that helps organizations becoming more efficient and profitable. Paul served as an independent advisor for Catalyst Consulting Group and an operational advisor to Advent International Corporation on numerous investment opportunities from 2013 until February 2020.

Paul has also served as a director of Junior Achievement of Wisconsin since 2006 and as a director of Friendship Circle of Wisconsin since March 2019.
