Tanmay Kumar is a Managing Director at Bridgeport Partners. At Bridgeport, Tanmay is responsible for sourcing, evaluating and executing financial technology investments.

Tanmay previously served as the Chief Financial Officer of Trebia Acquisition Corporation, a NYSE-listed special purpose acquisition company. Alongside Bridgeport and Trebia, Tanmay served as an investment professional at Trasimene Capital Management, the external manager of Cannae Holdings Inc. Tanmay was a Principal at Motive Partners (Motive), a financial technology investment firm. Before that, he was a Vice President in the Alternative Investments Division at Wafra, Inc. (Wafra). At Wafra, Tanmay invested across the capital structure and across public and private markets with a focus on financial services and technology companies. Prior to Wafra, Tanmay was a Senior Investment Analyst at Phillips Academy Andover in the Investment Office.

Tanmay is a Member of the Board of Directors of System1, Inc. (NYSE: SST). He is a graduate of New York University with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics (Theory) and is a CFA Charterholder.
