Emma Glyn is a Principal at Bridgeport Partners. At Bridgeport, Emma is responsible for sourcing, evaluating and executing financial technology investments and oversees the firm’s Capital Formation and Investor Relations functions.

Before joining Bridgeport, Emma was at Motive Partners (Motive), a financial technology investment firm, where she was an early employee and helped establish the Capital Raising and Investor Relations function. At Motive, Emma contributed to the close of Motive Capital Fund 2, which secured total capital commitments of $2.5 billion, including affiliated co-investment vehicles, as well as Motive Capital Fund 1 of $485 million. Earlier in her career, Emma was an investment banking analyst in the Mergers & Acquisitions team at the Standard Bank Group.

Emma received a Bachelor of Business Science with a first-class honors in Finance at the University of Cape Town. She co-founded OPUS, a social enterprise that convenes young leaders and entrepreneurs around the world, as well as The Vintage Collective, a community for women in private equity aimed at creating opportunities for women across the industry.
